Leaving Germany soon

Our time here in Germany is soon over. We plan to leave here on Sunday and take the train to Arnheim, where we will stay at my(Corinne's) aunt and uncle's apartment. The last number of days we've seen more of the Rhine and gone back to Koln. We decided to go overnight back to the area where we went last week and this time take a little boat and bike tour. The first day was a little rainy, so we went to another castle and that's when the battery on our camera died. Frustrating! So we have no pictures from the next day. Oh well. It was a beautiful day and we took a 2 hour boat tour and then rented bikes. THere are bike paths all along the Rhine. But 30km was enough for me, since I haven't biked for about 1 1/2 yrs. Pathetic eh! But it was great and FLAT! plus I love the european bikes even though Pete would much rather have his recumbant.
Yesterday we went back to Koln again and I spent some time shopping while Pete climbed up to the top of the church steeple. He tried to get some pictures, but only got the cable. It was fun shopping. Tons of people and so many people into fashion. I even bought a few things, since prices are much like in Canada and no tax! Apparently this is the fashion capital of Germany
For the next few days we plan to hang out here, read and walk a bit, clean the house and do laundry. Not too eventful.
Bye for now and love to you all.
